Big Brother is definitely watching you (AP)

Yesterday a shopping center security camera caught footage of what seemed like an apparent abduction.  Story goes, the "abductee" is a family member.  She is refusing to move to another state with the family and the family members did what they believed was necessary.  Parenting is a difficult role in many and most circumstances.  I'm not going to cast judgement on the behaviour of either the children or parents.  The point of the post is to demonstrate the connectivity of the security camera with law enforcement actions.  The security operator saw something that he saw as suspect.  The police were notified, and an Amber Alert issued for the county.  He didn't have to do that.  But what if it was a real kidnapping event?  He could not forgive himself for not bringing it to the attention of the authorities.  But what about the law enforcement's reaction?  Could they have not possibly made more effort to investigate a little more before turning it into a criminal event?  Timing is everything and in protecting our children, the care must be taken on the conservative side.  You just never know what might happen.
