Last February, newly minted provincial Housing Minister Jonathan Denis stood before a crowd gathered downtown in front of a new affordable housing tower and beamed.
It was the grand opening of the Louise Station, a new 88-unit building on the corner of 8th Street and 4th Avenue S.W. funded with $12 million from the province and another $15 million from Calgary taxpayers -- a P3 project with third partner LaCaille Group, headed by then Mayor Dave Bronconnier's longtime friend and supporter Peter Livaditis.
