R.I.P. ~ Michael Gardner (1959-2013)

Mike and I met at high school in Aurora, Ontario.  It was the mid 70's.  He was a year behind me.  We reconnected in Calgary and met on occasion at the Good Earth cafe to enjoy some coffee, tea or bakery treat.  He talked business and life's' passions.  He was passionate about his world, the work he did, the playground in the mountains, and his volunteer activities.  I remember most his passion for cycling, it was always some particular ride that was his next challenge.

I am extremely saddened by Mike's passing.  I wish his family and friends the best healing energy ~ and know well that Mike will be resting peacefully in the mountains for eternity.

Mike ~ rest, breath deeply, and hold on to your peace.
