Seems that maybe I am not the only one that has been challenged by the accuracy of GPS assisted driving (
Example #4,239 why sat-nav isn't always to be trusted). I had my first exposure to this novel device in Australia and though it may have been godsend in some respects, it also had me on a deadend trail to nowhere in the middle of the night which was rather unnerving - foreign country, rural setting, completely lost? San Francisco has been more gentle in its inaccuracies. But then I was probably paying about as much attention as the person in the photo and associated story. Reality is the unit delivered us to our last destination and without much of a hiccup. So the humour is in not ending up where you may have wanted to but hopefully not too permanently damaged from the foray.
