Its a New Week - Time to Pull the Pin?

ok so its already Tuesday. By yesterday's weather, Monday probably should have been scheduled either. Though today, today the weather is .... well, the same. As in Good Morning Vietnam, when Robin Williams is talking about the weather. Except here is cold, friggin cold, and more friggin cold coming. Grrrrrrrr, I realize I have said this before, but our winter has to stop. But hey, walked into the office this morning, after a week at home rather sick, and my access key worked. The place does have a little ghostly feel to it though. there's usually someone else showing up. Logged onto my computer, and I still exist. That's all a bonus. These days, ya just never know when the pin might be pulled, knowingly or not. The oil business is getting hammered today by GreenPeace. They're intent on convincing the European Market that StatOil needs to get out of the oil sands. I'd like to hear how that works out.. I am not necessarily a fan of the surface mining and reclamation that is occuring in the oilsands but time, experience, and technology are improving these processes. And new ones continue to be developed. These folks have been at it for almost forty years. They have ccontinued to seek new technologies to assist in the extraction and processing of the oil sand. I believe with geopolitical senstivieities as they are, and as they change, a reasonably secure and safe supply of petroleum products is important to our own livelihood. There are many at the moment that believe the current unrest in Pakistan/Kashmir is a most significant global challenge. I guess we'll just have to wait, watch and see what comes next.
