In a CSPAN interview on Friday, President Obama uttered words that many thought may never ever be uttered in public, let alone by a wholly listened to public official, and none other than Obama himself. Now, granted the context of the actual quotation is a little less definitive than some may still hope for - the discussion linked more directly to healthcare. But regardless, this is a bold and grand statement - true and very tangible - however, I believe, it will be months and years before we see tangible evidence of the repercussions of these words uttered at this time ..... stagflation, deflation, inflation indeflation ....any others? Iceland has sunk, Eastern Europe in sinking, Spain and Italy will prolly survive, Japan has lost their AAA, UK is prolly next, and then who - the US? We have some time (we think), all this taking place over the next 0-60 months - or wattev, no one really knows, except that a cataclysmic downside is still coming.
