Spring has sprung?

Here in Calgary we have had such a wonderful and pleasant introduction to an early spring.  The weekend saw temperatures soaring to the mid-teens (daily avg -1.9C).  This is quite unusual to me and my twenty-five plus years in this city.  It can't help but make one wonder when we will get our next winterized blow.  It isn't a matter of if but when.  And then I read of the news that Cheery Blossoms in Tokyo have bloomed six days in advance.  Reminds me of the 26 days LATER that the MayDay trees bloomed (Also called a Bird Cherry Tree)



Japanese macaques eat cherry blossom at Tokyo's Ueno zoo. The zoo incorperated a cherry tree into the macaques habitat as the sprouts and flowers are their favorite foods.
