Koala and Car - its a tight fit (Jalopnik)

The Car and the Koala are not meant to be close buddies or anything.  Unfortunately vehicular collisions accidents are major causes of mortality for wildlife species across the globe - and often the people that might also be unlucky in their timing.  This little guy though was saved by some unknown stroke of luck only to go on a ride I'm sure he will never forget.

Koala Hit By Car Gets Stuck In Grille, Survives

This male koala in southeastern Australia survived being hit by a Ford Falcon at 50 mph and then kept his adorableness for the 10-mile ride to a veterinarian. No word on who let Bindi Irwin drive. (H/t to Kvit!) [NineMSN]
