As a biologist for more than 3 decades now, there have been many a project come and go, and then resurface and be rethought. Site C is one of those projects. The provincial government in it's infinite wisdom gave the nod to proceed with this project earlier this spring. And in my view, on the basis of some less than ideal circumstances. As you may have guessed, I am not a fan of big hydro. I believe the negative consequences far outweigh the benefit. With the current challenges against other energy related projects in this neck of the woods, it will be interesting to see how this progresses, or not. Always, watching and learning.
