//(CNSNews.com) - The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a division of the federal government’s National Institutes of Health (NIH), has spent $3,634,807 over the past decade funding research that involves getting monkeys to smoke and drink drugs such as PCP, methamphetamine (METH), heroin, and cocaine and then studying their behavior, including during different phases of the female monkeys’ menstrual cycles.
The study also uses “interventions” as “treatment models” for monkeys who have been taught to use drugs.

interesting post..I just know that there is a funding to finance a training for sex workers so they can drink moderately during their work hours. It is good to know that they indeed are given that training. It means, they will be safe because the that training will teach them not to get drunk during work time. Therefore, it will prevent them from any harms and abuses triggered by the excessive using of alcohol.
Thank you for your thoughts. I appreciate the comment. I agree that is it good for these workers to be safe from harm. However, I do not believe it is the place of government to provide such training. The choice to drink while working is individual and independent of anything or anyone. This is an individual and personal responsibility not one for the government to manage.
