CALGARY - Petrobank Resources (TSX:PBG) said it has received Alberta government approvals for another oilsands project at Dawson using its proprietary fireflooding technique.
Dawson, which will initially comprise two horizontal will pairs, will be the third project to use the technology, the company said in a news release. However, it noted that approvals for the joint application with the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) and Alberta Environment, took over 19 months.
