I am deeply moved with the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States. This is such a monumental event is the world's history. Throughout the campaign, I felt drawn to this man. I believe charisma in politics is critical and this man has it. Simply put, I find his public persona electrifying and confidence inspiring. For all the talk about his lack of seniority and experience, I believe he will be the quick study that as he has already demonstrated.

The Administration launch whitehouse.gov a website dedicated to communicating with the people. The intent is " ... to be the most transparent and accountable administration in American history." Extracted from this site (which is chock full of information, well presented and easy to find and read) is the following little known fact (ok new to me): President Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States. He is, however, only the 43rd person ever to serve as President; President Grover Cleveland served two nonconsecutive terms, and thus is recognized as both the 22nd and the 24th President.
